Our new Strait of Sicily Gay Cruise will caress the southern coast of Italy and Sicily before concluding in mesmerizing Malta. Read on for a melodic introduction to the exquisite yacht we’ll call home, the Harmony G.

The Harmony G is a sonata for the eyes.

From her striking design to her many amenities, this gorgeous yacht will impress and enthrall.

When we first discussed launching a gay cruise along Italy’s Mediterranean Coast, everyone agreed on three things: the group needed to be small and tight-knit, the ship needed to be as sexy as Sophia Loren and the onboard meals needed to live up to Italy’s culinary prestige. Enter Harmony G.

Small in size. Big in fun.

The Harmony G docked outside a small Italian port town.

Our stylish yacht has room for just 38 gay men (and potentially women) looking to savour the splendours of both Italy and Malta. By choosing a smaller vessel, our Strait of Sicily Gay Cruise will be able to anchor in hidden Italian coves, dock in tiny Maltese ports and—if we so choose—make last-minute itinerary adjustments depending on our passengers’ whims and wishes.

A luxe, stylish design.

Re design: In 2001, the Harmony G launched to great fan fair. It was praised for its modern and sleek deck design as well as its ample common areas including its beautiful sun deck, swim platform, and spacious indoor/outdoor lounges. Meanwhile, her cabins featured wood panelling with warm decorative highlights. Since that maiden voyage, the ship has been upgraded twice, ensuring she’s stayed on top of her game.

Delicious onboard meals.

Finally, we need to talk about the food. Given the majority of this tour will dance along Italy’s southern and Sicilian coasts, we knew we needed to do the culinary destination justice. From tantalizing tagliatelle to remarkable risotto, the ship’s onboard chefs will delight your pallet with their regional flair. Breakfasts will be robust buffets with both hot and cold selections. Meanwhile, lunches and dinners will be served in either the indoor or outdoor dining areas (weather depending). Oh! And it’s definitely worth noting the charismatic bartenders will be on hand day and night to shake, stir or blend your favourite cocktails. Negroni, Signoro?

Four cosy cabin categories to choose from.

While the size and design of each cabin varies depending on the category, they all feature a private ensuite bathroom and shower. Not to mention flat-screen TVs, CD/DVD players, music channels, mini bar/refrigerator, individually controlled A/C units, direct dial telephones (for internal use), safety deposit boxes, adapters (220v) and hair dryers.

Upper Deck, Category P

Category P Cabin aboard the Harmony G.

Located on the upper deck, bright natural light will spill into our Category P cabins from their large windows. These cabins are notably different from other categories with their rich blue linens and plush carpets. They are the most spacious cabins onboard and range in size from 162²ft/15²m to 194²ft/18²m. They can be configured with either one double or two twin beds.

Main Deck, Category A

There are eight cabins available in our second tier, all of which are located on the main deck and feature full windows. These stylish rooms feature pops of red to brighten up the space. They range in size from approximately 113.4²ft/10.5²m to 118.8²ft/11²m, and are uniformly square. They are all configured with two twin beds.

Main Deck, Category B

Category B cabin aboard the Harmony G.

There are only three third tier cabins, all of which are located on the main deck. These are almost identical to Category A but because of their unique positions on the ship vary in shape.

Lower Deck, Category C

Category C cabin aboard the Harmony G.

Our most affordable cabins are located in the lower deck and range in size from 108²ft/10²m to 118.8²ft/11²m. In terms of interior design, they are practically the same as our main deck cabins, with the exception of portholes. All but one are configured with two twin beds.

Ample amenities.

Onboard this splashy gay cruise there will be plenty of activities and amenities to indulge in. For example, every day we’ll have at least one (but usually two) swim stops where you can dive right off the state-of-the-art swim platform into the shimmering Mediterranean. Feel free to borrow the onboard kayaks, snorkels and beach towels.

When you’re ready to dry off, comfortable lounge chairs are located in both the sun and shade. Board games and a common TV are also available—perhaps a Fellini viewing party is in order.
